Fans of Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan, get ready to rejoice.  Batfans in general, you may be crying in your cowl.

Nolan has inked a deal with Warner Bros. to direct Inception, based on hisown screenplay, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The bad news? This development delays any hope for a Dark Knight follow-up for at least a couple years.

A sci-fi action film, Inception is "set within the architecture of the mind." Nolan plans to begin shooting this summer.
